Orthopedic Injuries
McMaster Physical Therapy treats many varieties of orthopedic injuries that have resulted from sports injuries, industrial injuries, automobile accidents, etc. Our experienced staff provides treatment to reduce pain, swelling and increase strength and endurance of areas that have been affected by traumatic injury. These injuries typically involve the following joint locations:
- Ankle
- Knee (rehabilitation of total knee replacement to minor arthroscopic knee surgery)
- Hip (rehabilitation of total hip replacements)
- Hand/Wrist/Elbow
- Shoulder (rehabilitation of total shoulder replacement to bursitis and rotator cuff repairs)

Neck & Back Pain
(Bulging discs, herniated discs, sprains and strains) – Neck and back pain can be caused by numerous conditions (i.e. degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, arthritis, etc.) and from specific injuries (strains from lifting, etc.). McMaster Physical Therapy employs highly skilled licensed therapists who provide treatment that can reduce and potentially eliminate pain in the neck and or back through a structured program that includes educating the patient on home exercise programs to help speed the recovery time.

Chronic Pain
Chronic Pain Disorders diagnosed by physicians include disorders such as ARTHRITIS, FIBROMYALGIA, and CRANIOMANDIBLUAR (Head and neck disorders) including the temporomandibular joint ( TMJ). Other chronic pain disorders are more difficult to diagnose. However, McMaster Physical Therapy works in coordination with your physician to help develop ways to help alleviate chronic pain.

Industrial Injuries
Injuries resulting from work related accidents can involve diagnoses from fractures to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Our staff works closely with employee’s case managers and employees to get the employee back to work and with symptoms eliminated or reduced.

The emphasis of the health sciences on fitness and wellness has brought to women's attention a need to pay closer attention to their bodies during recreation, work, and throughout life. McMaster Physical Therapy has specialized training in women's health that will benefit women with a variety of medical conditions such as: - urinary incontinence
- prenatal and postpartum exercise programs
- weakness of pelvic floor muscles
- treating low back pain during pregnancy
